A drug deal gone wrong led to a kidnapping, armed robbery, shootout, and police chase in Hernando County Wednesday evening. A victim was forced into his own trunk, but managed to escape and retrieve a gun for a shootout with the suspect, leaving him wounded. The suspect fled on foot after his father sped away from police during a pursuit.
