Former special education teacher, Nancy Boggs, 67, of Charleston, W.V will spend 10 years in jail for harming students. Boggs was indicted on 23 counts of battery and one count of verbal abuse of a noncommunicative child. During a hearing in May, Boggs pleaded guilty to 10 counts of misdemeanor battery and the other counts were dismissed. 'You turned your classroom into a place of what can only be described as torture, I sincerely wish I could give you more' Judge Maryclaire Akers said.
