infoSex offender used fake social media accounts to contact children

Jeremy Farnham, 36, was arrested on one count each of a sexual offender failing to register internet identifiers, internet electronic mail address and cellular telephone number.

The Sheriffs Office had received an anonymous tip that Farnham was using social media accounts to chat with underage girls. Agents discovered that in addition, Farnham was using aliases and taking active steps to deceive the Florida Sex Offender Registry. Farnham was booked into the Alachua County Jail. Additional charges are dependent upon completion of forensics exams.
