Gage Grimes, 27, was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist. A witness said the driver of a white pickup truck stopped a short distance from where he hit a woman who was riding a bike on May 25. Two men got out of the truck and looked at the damage to the front. They then left the scene. A passer-by found the woman, later identified as 57-year-old Debra Ceschin, who was dead when deputies arrived on the scene. Tips led detectives with MCSO’s Vehicular Crime Unit to Grimes. During an interview with deputies, he admitted to using drugs just minutes before being taken into custody.
