Phillip Knepper, 59, was booked in the Osceola County Jail without bond on charges of aggravated child abuse, sexual battery of a minor under 12 and lewd and lascivious molestation.

According to an affidavit, Knepper had been abusing the child for years until she confided in a church youth group leader.

An IT specialist for the school district since December 2008, he faces life in prison, if convicted.
