Surveillance video shows the driver of the truck, Samuel Rossetti, 31, got out and approached Boersmas car. Rossetti tried unsuccessfully to open the door handle then hit the window with his hand. Rossetti ripped off the door handle then started walking back to his truck when Boersma got out of his Nissan Versa with a Glock 9mm handgun and fired multiple shots at him. Boersma then left the scene.

Investigators arrived to find Rossetti lying on the ground unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Boersma turned himself in to authorities later in the day.
