infoNC student arrested in connection to murder of roomie

Christina Maria Matos had celebrated her 20th birthday on Friday with friends, where she was last seen. After she didnt show up on Saturday for her birthday party, friends grew concerned and called 911 and reported Matos as missing.

The investigation led police to Eric Gael Hernandez-Mendez, 20. Hernandez-Mendez was arrested and charged with the murder of Matos at Wake Tech. No motive has yet been released for the slaying
