Alabama daycare worker charged with sex abuse of a child

Gardendale police arrested Caleb Roger Lee, 19, on one count of sex abuse of a child under the age of 12.

Lee worked at ChristWay Child Development center on Mt. Olive Road. He had been employed at the daycare since Aug.

Gardendale Det. Kyle Pannell said police launched their investigation on Dec. 29 after a child came forward with allegations of inappropriate behavior.

Lee was booked into the Jefferson County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.
