Arizona woman arrested for driving car while man robbed, shot passenger
Bianca Renee Garcia, 27, was arrested after she and another suspect allegedly robbed a male victim in her car.
Garcia picked up the victim and invited him to her apartment to drink. \nUpon the victim entering the car, Garcia began texting an unknown person.
Moments later Garcia stopped the car and an unknown man entered the car and sat behind the victim.
The victim then felt a sharp object pressed against his neck as the man began to demand money from the victim in Spanish and English.
The victim turned around and tried to throw a punch, and the man shot him. The victim survived, and the man then proceeded to take approximately $950 in cash from the victim?s pocket.
Garcia told police she had been facilitating a drug deal between the two men because she is bilingual and after the shooting the man ordered her at gunpoint to keep driving until she eventually stopped and and ran away.
Further investigation found that Garcia was currently serving probation for a prior conviction. Garcia was booked into a Maricopa County jail where she is being held on a $100,000 bond.
