Florida 13-year-old arrested for sexual assault of 5-year-old

Ayden Rodriguez, 13, was arrested after police responded to a Cape Coral home on following a complaint that the teen had been caught in a locked bathroom with the 5-year-old who was heard saying \u00e2\u0080\u009cno, why are doing that, stop doing that,\u00e2\u0080\u009d according to an arrest report from the Cape Coral Police Department.

The 5-year-old was immediately taken to to the Children\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Advocacy Center for medical assessment.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) obtained Rodriguez\u00e2\u0080\u0099s DNA and compared it to the DNA from the sexual assault kit and confirmed the match, according to the arrest report.

Rodriguez was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center. \n
