Florida man arrested while hiding in yard of slain County attorney

Officers received a call Sunday morning in reference to a woman being attacked at a home. Upon arrival officers found Erin Hartigan, 44, dead at the scene. OPD then entered the backyard where they found William Franklin, 33, hiding.

Further investigation discovered evidence supporting Franklin\u00e2\u0080\u0099s involvement scattered around several blocks surrounding Hartigan\u00e2\u0080\u0099s residence, which supports probable cause.

However, investigators could not establish a known link between Hartigan and Franklin.
