A Texas couple has been arrested after deputies found their missing 3-week-old boy dead in a 5-gallon bucket of tar
Roland, 42, and Donna, 41, Grabowski each face a slew of felony charges ranging from tampering with evidence to abusing a corpse and child endangerment in connection with the death of their son, Micah.
Sheriff\u00e2\u0080\u0099s deputies were called Saturday morning to the couple\u00e2\u0080\u0099s home after a relative told an investigator the baby may have died sometime between July 28 and July 30, and a neighbor told authorities it had been a week since they had seen the child.
Roland and Donna Grabowski were unable to show their child and declined to cooperate with the investigation. First they allegedly lied about the child\u00e2\u0080\u0099s whereabouts and allegedly sent a text message to a friend asking them to \u00e2\u0080\u009csay your baby is ours.\u00e2\u0080\u009d
After their arrest, they told investigators that about July 29, they woke up and found their baby, Micah, dead in their bed.
Investigators with the sheriff\u00e2\u0080\u0099s office obtained a warrant to search their home, where they found Micah\u00e2\u0080\u0099s body submerged in a bucket of tar in a shed behind the residence, authorities said.
Roland Grabowski is listed in the Texas registry of sex offenders. He was convicted in 2008 of sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child. The victims\u00e2\u0080\u0099 ages in those cases were 12 and 14
