2nd Florida suspect arrested in shooting death of Burger King employee over drive-thru delay

Ashley Mason, 31, was arrested Wednesday on charges of principal to first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm.

Mason was in the restaurant's drive-thru line Aug. 1 when its manager noticed her becoming angry over the slow service.

Mason\u00e2\u0080\u0099s 13-year-old daughter told officers she was in the front seat of her mom\u00e2\u0080\u0099s car said Joshua was disrespectful to her mother.

Mason got out of her car and yelled at a manager, threatening to bring her \u00e2\u0080\u009cman\u00e2\u0080\u009d to the restaurant. Mason was refunded $40 and told to leave, but surveillance footage shows she waited in the parking lot for Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez Tormes, who arrived in a white SGL Constructors truck

Mason allegedly said she saw a firearm in her husband\u00e2\u0080\u0099s truck and armed herself with the gun and pointed it toward the fight between Tormes and Joshua. \"Bust him if he touches me,\" Tormes allegedly said. Rodriguez-Tormes told her to give her the gun, and she did, according to this account. Mason said she then tried to back her car out, but Joshua jumped over the hood of the car, and walked toward the driver-side of Rodriguez-Tormes\u00e2\u0080\u0099s truck. She allegedly claimed to hear a gunshot, and saw Joshua fall.

Mason was arrested and charged with principal to first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm.
