Florida man arrested after planting and reporting fake bomb at church

Jason Robert Martinez, 45, was taken into custody after contacting 911 to report a suspicious bag left inside of a church. The church was voluntarily evacuated.

Martinez was then arrested as he was sitting inside of the church when deputies arrived.

The fake bomb was later confirmed to be a smart-speaker, according to the arrest report.
