Arizona addiction doctor accused of doing drugs with patient
An addiction psychiatrist who used to work at, 2nd Chance Treatment Centers, PLLC, in Scottsdale, Arizona has been fired and arrested.
According to the company, the mother of a patient complained about Billing shortly after Christmas.
The mother provided video of Dr. Rajeev Singh Billing, 37, allegedly smoking marijuana from a joint and glass bong. The video also shows Billing standing at a kitchen counter with several beers and what appears to be a mirror with a rolled-up bill and white residue on it, according to court documents.
The patient told investigators he had been treated by Billing for about six months. And in that time, the two bonded over an interest in rap music.
Billing \u00e2\u0080\u009cadmitted to obtaining cocaine for the individual and ingesting cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol with the individual.\u00e2\u0080\u009d Investigators said they found marijuana and \u00e2\u0080\u009cparaphernalia associated with the ingestion of cocaine,\u00e2\u0080\u009d as well as a variety of prescription pills, including oxycodone, at Billing\u00e2\u0080\u0099s home. Police said the prescription labels had been partially torn off the bottles, so there was no patient information on them..
